The Child Care Apprenticeship is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills required for a career in childcare.
FOUNDATION LEVEL APPRENTICESHIP
Level 2 apprenticeship in Child Care aims to provide a foundational understanding of childcare practices. Apprentices will learn about the importance of child development, health and safety regulations, and effective communication with children and their families. Practical skills, such as organizing activities and maintaining a safe environment, are emphasized.
ADVANCED LEVEL APPRENTICESHIP
Level 3 apprenticeship builds on the foundational knowledge gained in Level 2. It delves deeper into child development theories, planning and implementing learning activities, and understanding the needs of children with diverse backgrounds. Level 3 apprentices are typically expected to take on more responsibilities and may be involved in leadership roles within a childcare setting.
