Health and Social Care Worker Apprenticeship

The Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship has been designed to develop your employees’ existing care skills and equip them with the expertise to make a positive difference to someone’s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges.

The care industry is a dynamic world with unique challenges, and this qualification enables managers to ensure their staff are delivering to exacting standards.

This apprenticeship programme gives your employees the confidence, skills, knowledge and behaviours to deliver first class care across a range of care and health and social care settings.

Course outline:

  • Adopting the right values and behaviours to provide high quality compassionate care and support
  • Safeguarding & protection in care settings
  • How to promote health and wellbeing for the individuals they support
  • Ensure dignity is at the centre of all work with the individuals they support, their families, carers and advocates

The Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship is ideal for employees who already provide health and social care support to adults in a range of settings and are ready to take the next step in their healthcare career. These employees deliver high quality, compassionate care to every person whether they work in a person’s own home, residential or nursing home, or a clinical setting.
